jews regularly brush past the "is it ETHICAL?" question that's supposed to underpin any asking of an "is it LAWFUL?" and go "heh heh chump sucks to suck better perfect-ify your codified moral laws next time" while pretending that this is some sort of moral lesson, a personal favor via grift-scam to the bereaved, completely missing what this erodes, destroys, and most importantly---makes categorically impossible (possibly as an imperative!) in the process.
