Sounds more like narcissistic personality disorder than dementia. Quote Matthew 19:4-5 to her:
4 “Haven’t you read,” he [Jesus] replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Good post.
I believe most ancient lonely people have a high degree of narcissism. It’s not usual narcissism—more an awareness of the fleeting quality of time left which drives some selfish and manipulative behaviors. Par for the course.
Disco needs to spend some time w his mother before she’s gone. And he needs to model this for his family because w his weight problems he’s gonna have dementia sooner rather than later also and I’m sure he’ll want his kids to treat him well.
Disco’s “assets” all come from family money, either his or his wife’s, so that’s not really an accomplishment per se.
