But PTA made There Will Be Blood, which is plausibly the greatest movie of all time. So I think it's like when you have a great artist who just throws paint on the wall and it sell for $200 mm - it's not for me, but I understand the argument that the artist is a master and it's just not something that I understand.
It's sort of like if the Coen brothers had won Best Picture for Burn After Reading. It'd be hard for me to argue its the worst Best Picture of all time whe its from the people who made Fargo and NCFOM. |
