my parents are into hockey and go to games a lot and are long-time Caps fans but they don't get UPSET when they lose, nor would they be the people in that study who would rather see rivals lose. |

Its economy is based on low cost of doing business with relatively affordable housing. People move there to make money. No one would live in some godforsaken subdivision in Frisco if the taxes and housing cost the same as LA.
Sort of like how places like Vermont have to be shitlib. Its whole appeal is crunchy low development, no trashy billboards on the highway, no ugly factories or energy extraction stuff.
