Known for big family friendly companies that represented the American Dream like General Mills, 3M, and Target.

But now it’s just known for its Somali immigrants and violent radicalism.

It’s strange because coming from one of the more economically significant corners of America, it’s like nothing much has changed, but there’s a lot of weirdness going on out in the hinterlands, in flyover. I’m kind of scared to go to the Finger Lakes next week. Is that the Midwest?
