Date: July 6th, 2025 7:58 PM Author: brilliant titillating box office legal warrant yeah but it hampers actually being able to discuss and work on some of the jewish identity stuff, which is important to understanding part of the christian identity as well i feel like a lot of israel's issues occurring with inhabitants in the west atm would be resolved with a safrica styled truth & reconciliation discussion and a commitment to openness regarding differences and similarities in belief. the current idea that "judeo-christian" is, to many though not all jews, a falsely applied and disingenuous ideological platform is understandably upsetting. the resultant cultural furor seems like an inevitability in that light. if the environment surrounding these issues atm was more conducive to open discussion, then i'd imagine that what could come out of it would probably be pretty productive and restore a similar degree of interfaith dialogue. that said this is admittedly difficult if you're not overlooking the pressure from a small but loud portion on both sides that just wants the blood of the other and doesn't seem to care about what that might destroy in the process. |
