AI was allowed to analyze symbolism for a brief period of time in order to understand it better, but that window has closed for ChatGPT (which was far ahead of competitors in this domain). grok and gemini are now much better at symbolic language than GPT, but that is only because grok and gemini are scrambling to play catch up; once they have sufficient data on symbolic language they will close the window like OpenAI.
