The dude is right. Life was more enjoyable and more manageable overall for the broad population before smart phone proliferation. Internet should be restricted to a computer on a desk.

Nope. National policy is now ALL about AI and it's the panacea to our aging and shrinking population. USA has 4,000 and counting. China has 800 online. Nobody else comes close. Look where energy supplies are and you'll see the US using AI companies to lockdown the resource. The future is energy in/intelligence out.

That's the economic future the technocrats envision and is certainly the direction we're going. AI/bigdata (especially as applied to "defense") is basically holding our economy together... well, that, gambling, and OnlyFans lol. But do we, the everyday people, want that? I don't think anyone really does. People don't want data centers near them, first of all (it's not just loud and annoying btw, the infrasound is actually making people sick; this hasn't been covered very much yet) or even further away from them if it causes electricity and water costs to go up (which it does). And even people who enjoy the level of convenience provided by bigtech's data collection think it's gone too far.

As one of the dudes in the video said, reverting would definitely hurt baby diddler Sam Altman's bank account, but I'm not too worried about that.

I'm not saying I agree. If you're the type that cares about GDP though, there aren't many options. These people are worried about population collapse. Some like Elon come at the issue from what I believe is an altruistic position. The idea of human population regressing means an end to progress and our destiny to take over the stars or some shit. Others are probably worried about the slave stock falling off. Either way we've already crossed the Rubicon. It's not some inverse Malthusian chicken little thing. Humans are not reproducing. That doesn't mean simply fewer people. I think a lot of people would welcome that. But instead what we'll have is fewer people but the ones left are geriatric. That's a fucking nightmare.

They've tried the mass unfettered immigration route but that's just moving deck chairs to globalists. We saw first world countries do some neo colonialism and import slaves, looking out for their own interests. Trump's election is an admission that that tactic has lost favor. Now the only option is to have robotics, controlled by AI, driving production. Data centers are where the new value is generated. The US is 40 trillion in debt and nobody even acts like we're paying that down. The gamble is that AI will take over the economy soon and the future wealth or currency is the computational power to keep it running. That's sold as some age of abundance utopia.
