Iraq war seemed much more justifiable than this Iran shit

Iraq signed a treaty after the Gulf War. Then they spent the next 10 years violating that treaty, fucking around with weapons inspectors, shooting at American planes, etc. People knew we were on the brink of war for years, and finally Bush told them to gtfo or we were going to invade. Even without the WMDs, there was years of differences as a prelude.
I'm not really sure what is the onus for the Iran attacks. Didn't WE pull out of the nuclear deal? So then Israel attacks Iran for possibly making a nuclear weapon, which they aren't prohibited from doing?

Iran has had dramatically more involvement in funding regional terror proxies. Saddam was much more chill after the Gulf war.
But most importantly, there is a staggering world of difference between bombing shit and doing nothing else and a full on ground invasion and regime change and occupation for nearly a decade

If you're in Iran does it really make you feel better than bombs are just raining down from the sky rather than human beings appearing?
And if you're argument is that they're only targeting military targets, isn't that in direct conflict with the line that Israel is using in Gaza where they have to attack civilians in order to ensure their enemies are fully terminated?

there was actually a reasonable argument to be made for the iraq and afghanistan wars from a straussian perspective, apart from any sort of casus belli that actually made any military or geopolitical sense
in the end, it turned out to be a complete failure for the united states, and not even much of a victory for israel. but in principle, there was a legitimate straussian argument for the "creation" of a schmittian enemy to unite an increasingly divided and incoherent nation-state coming out of the cold war with no unified sense of identity or purpose

#1 Jews have total power so they don’t care about optics anymore
And/or
#2 Jews want to raise antisemitism levels so Jews are forced to flee back to Israel to fulfill divine prophecy and reinstate greater Israel / third temple
Or both
