Proles have always had an unwarranted optimism about Life & Love, and this misguided optimism always gets them killed or Ruined. This is what happened to Petito and what will happen to the dude who killed her. Like proles will just hop in a van and go "touring" after they've been dating for 5 days. They think the world is this interesting place and that all kinds of magic awaits them on their spiritual journey. I am a Pessimist which is why I make 400k and hate being alive, and also why I will never have to run from the Law in gator-infested swamps with $237 in my Bank of America checking account with Overdraft Protection. |

In Europe it is different, you can be at a pub and just remark "Life is a Nightmare and we should all go extinct imo" and everyone will just nod and say "Yeah, agreed". |
