The spendpigs love these monthly credits to services that aren't even worth using. They add so much mental value to a dumbass

it's worth the extra $60 just to get in an hour before the jeets.

i cant believe there are people dedicated enough to queue up at 10am but the extra $60 isn't worth it to them. i love watching the tiny pink white card members trying to rush in and the scanner telling them to gtfo.

This is a good point. It works out to $270.83/month. That's doable for my family if we go 2x per month. But if we only go 1x per month, it's iffy. A summer vacation, a busy December, and all of a sudden you're on the outside of a good deal.

Just buying gas for two cars in CA we get more than half way to that. Always check them first for travel stuff like rental cars because they’re usually cheapest and you get the extra travel % with the card. We usually end up spending 1-2k there in groceries and related items just for bigger occasions where you need bulk supplies like birthday parties, Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we usually end up with some amount of Christmas shopping happening there. Never had a year where we spent 5k at Costco but typically we go over 3k, especially if eg I buy tires or any smaller household appliances. But I doubt we’ll have a membership at all once we both have EVs and our kids are grown.

lol yeah no one who lives 80 miles away should ever get a Costco membership. In Texas we didn’t go there unless my parents or in-laws were in town and we could use their membership because we had HEB, the greatest grocery store chain in the history of human civilization. But in CA the grocery chains are SPS so we use TJ’s and Costco all the time and Costco is right by some of our kids’ activities, so it’s easy to combo it with the drop off for those.

Yes. Vons is worse ofc but Ralph’s prices when insane during Covid/Biden inflation, and they are increasingly resigned to just slowly bleeding off their established boomer customer base and letting everyone under 50 go to WF and TJ’s.

I can't believe people actually physically walk inside of places like Costco, why would you do that to yourself.

Upscale suburb adjacent costcos are CR. Costcos anywhere near a big city or a nowag or nowig enclave promote right wing radicalization.
