The square-cube law makes King Kong highly implausible.

As a giant land-based gorilla, his weight would increase faster than his bone and muscle strength, causing collapse. He'd also overheat due to insufficient surface area for heat loss and need vast food amounts, unlike whales, which benefit from water's buoyancy and cooling. Godzilla, often aquatic, might mitigate some issues but still faces structural and metabolic challenges. King Kong’s land environment makes him less feasible than Godzilla.
- Weight scales with size cubed, strength with size squared.
- Land-based giants face greater gravitational stress than aquatic ones.
- Energy needs for King Kong would be unsustainable.
