Some thought Jesus was supportive of the lepers, but kept physically distant from them in accordance with jewish law. Other jews claimed Jesus went into the leper colony and mixed it up with those bastards. Which story is more plausible?

Sorry, here's the original version:

---

Jesus Christ reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Instantly he was healed of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, "See that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

---

So everyone agrees Jesus touched a leper, the only question is whether word got around the colony.
