Very strong recommend. The film has heavy symbolic and mythic weight, as this period was a critical historical period - the transition from the Age of Aries to the Age of Pisces with all that entailed, i.e. the end of the Hellenic God image and the rise of the Christ God image, born out of the apocalyptic times resulting from the destruction of the Second Temple, along with the end of animal sacrifice/Temple worship and the rise of Talmudic Judaism.

The visuals of the film are incredible, and the voice acting in English is top notch (Oscar Isaac, Evangeline Lilly, Billy Zane, Elliott Gould). Very good pacing - I was on the edge of my seat. This is a must watch regardless of one's background.
