On last day I had 10 hours before flight and wandered around Ashgabat alone. Started near Presidential Palace and accidently ran into about 50 soldiers preparing to march to the palace. I thought "I'm furked" but instead they started talking and smiling then literally one said "Whats up man?" and many started saying "Hello" and stuff... then when I said India a few said "Namaste". I'm not joking there were 50 and every single one said Hello or some other greeting like thumbs up when I did thumbs up. It was INSANE.
Went to Merv (ancient city that Genghis raped), Ashgabat and then the crazy road trip to the gas crater which is dying but still looked 180 at night and the desert scenery was 180 and the crazy drive over shitroads was actually cool cause the drivers are experts at dodging potholes while still maintaining speed.
Have many more photos esp of Ashgabat but need to go thru them.

2. nah shld have cause wld die on way down, also its filthy all these cans get blown into hole, it was full of trash. its lolzy caus eso many chink tourists, im sure one day one will fall in then its sure death, either immediately or cause its hours before anyone cld come rescue, area is so remote
