Ripping out hot water registers seems like a huge pain in the ass. At a minimum you'd have to paint & do a bunch of trim work. Might have to do some flooring stuff too.
Not to mention, you'd be buying a brand new furnace and throwing out an operational one.
Also, I feel like hot water heat is superior in many respects to forced air. IMO it heats rooms more evenly and holds temps more consistent than forced air.
