Georgia has a statute where you can file for sanctions against a lawyer for frivolous shit, unreasonable bad faith delays etc.
Have a residential eviction case against a drug dealer squatter that I got a judgement against over a year ago( but his shit lawyer keeps filing boiler plate appeals to extend his possession. Filed four different flavors of appeal already. I got all dismissed but took a fucking year due to court delay. Sent him a warning a couple months ago under the sanctions. Statute.
On the eve of getting the sheriff out there for the eviction this dude filed another appeal last night.
My client is utterly fucked, hasn't gotten rent in years and can no longer afford mortgage.
I'm going to go whole fucking hog on this opposing shitlawyer. He's going to owe me $30k when it's all said and done.
Anyone ever have one of these battles? It's kinda fun. I'm MAF
