Nice putter! I was considering that same PLD Batman, but got Oslo 3 with a USA flag laser etched on the sole
Did Roger Dunn have the new Spider Zero Torque to demo? Supposedly it's the fastest selling TM putter of all time and out of stock now until August

actually think that looks good and like it would be cr for alignment. i’ll stick with my ancient scotty though.
btw you should try lead tape under the grip of your odyssey if you want to use a normal grip but have it retain the overall weight and counterbalanced feel it had with the superstroke

Op said odyssey feels super light and shitty after the new grip
Inferred that swing weight went down dramatically
Cause of lowered swing weight from only grip change is much heavier grip
Solution: reduce grip weight back to oem
*It sounds like he got a 70-80g traxion or jumbo and needs something 50-60g. Traxion 1.0PT is 58g (ie perfect for op)

they’re both oafish imo. a normal putter grip would be like this https://www.golfpride.com/us/en-us/putter-grips/classic-putters/tour-tradition.html
or like a ping man or whatever equivalent scotty’s have used over the years
i still have no idea how much that superstroke actually weighs though that link says the counterweight plug(included) is 50 and the overall “item weight” is 3.2 ounces which is like 90

I have a similarly designed ping putter from a few years ago that I really like.
If I was gonna spend that much right now I'd almost certainly be looking at a lab. Obviously you need to try it but all the comparisons I've seen suggest there's something legit to their design.

Like 2 or 3 years ago I went to a couple golf stores to price out getting "custom" clubs because regular clubs are way too short for me. I recall iron sets going up to like $1000 to $1200 or so for the most high end sets. Most under $1000 and this was at a fancy golf store.
This weekend I went to a fancy golf store again. Many many iron sets are over $1000 now, some were $1200-1400. They even had $1000 drivers
Is the "tech" that much improved over the past few years? Seems like bullshit

This is correct
Michael Jordan only has +1" on irons, wedges are standard length, and his driver is SHORTENED by 2-3". Obviously his grips are GIGANTIC as fuck, but his clubs look normal length and he's way taller than Doodikoff
