At a coffee shop this morning the tip screen defaulted to 5/10/15%—a breath of fresh air!
I cheerfully selected 15% and complimented the barista on the modest amounts. He responded:
“Oh, there’s an automatic 20% tip—that’s an additional tip.
(2 lattes and scones = $10 tip) |
