Just got back from Costco’s.

We’re doing lamb loin chops out on the Weber kettle and a cool yogurt/cucumber tzatziki sauce with grilled asparagus for dinner.

180 menu. Only improvement is if you make the tzatziki yourself from homegrown cucumbers. I do that every year.

My menu for tonight is also costco-inspired: Smoked beef back ribs + watermelon + an arugula/walnut/dried cherry salad I'm making from freshly grown arugula (clipped yesterday) and a homemade honey dijon vinaigrette.

Your menu sounds divine.

I just wrapped the asparagus in foil and hit it with a dash of EVOO, half a lemon, plus left the lemon peel in there, salt, pepper, and took it out to the Weber Kettle with me. Put the packet on the direct heat a couple times while I was handling the loin chops. It all came out ready about the same time.

I prefer to season asparagus with olive oil & lemon pepper and grill it on the grill grates directly. I hit it with a little fresh lemon juice, as well.

Doesn't highly acidic stuff immediately leach aluminum from foil? Congrats on the decision to add Alzheimers to your coronary infarction.

Acids immediately react with unoxidized aluminum. You're not supposed to add shit like lemons or vinegar in foil because it leaches into the food and fucks up your brain over time. You're poisoning yourself and your family lol

It’s a yogurt sauce. All of the fat is from the yogurt. There’s no oil in my sauce. You can have a bit more.

no fatass, eating spoonfulls of yogurt with each bite of fatty lamb is still too much when you're dying of being fat
