Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
Right-click the Windows key, select New > Key, and name it Explorer.
Inside the Explorer key, right-click, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it DisableSearchBoxSuggestions.
Double-click DisableSearchBoxSuggestions, set its value to 1, and click OK.
Restart your computer or restart the Explorer process (via Task Manager: end explorer.exe and run it again) for changes to take effect.

You can create a virtual machine, give it access to a usb drive and boot the windows installer off that drive. If you want Windows to have access to your GPU it takes about 15 minutes of research and is significantly less complicated than any random subsection in your Barbri outlines. It's like having one single windows PC you can use from any other device, even your phone using airplane wifi
