I'm glad I started this thread and glad there are some other listeners here. I think it's a great radio show. I like how the radio forces you to use your imagination. Sometimes I feel bad about being entertained by it. Feel bad for Hae's family. I think Adnan did it at this point but the host still seems to be holding her cards up her sleeve waiting for a big reveal. We're being manipulated as an audience, we know that, but we're hooked anyways. If the show does prove that Adnan's guilty, hope he gets some swift prison shiv justice for keeping this sham up for 15 years. If he is proven innocent, hope he is released ASAP and the team stays on the case to get the real killer. Will feel miserable for Hae's family. her parents will probably have heart attacks.
Are we not entertained?

There is a moment in the latest episode of "Serial" when a juror from the case, who is black, says to Koenig something along the lines of, "Well, everyone has that person that they call when they’re in trouble, right?" and Koenig responds with something along the lines of, "I thought about it, and everyone in my family would be useless in a situation like that." That to me was a hugely interesting moment, one in which Koenig comes off as being particularly privileged and white. She simply doesn’t get in trouble and possibly can’t imagine it, and it was a tiny bit obnoxious in the way that I can sometimes find the "This American Life" brand obnoxious, because there’s something about all this curiosity and wonder at discovery that’s so insidious—it cloaks itself in innocence, and erudition, and on some level it is so predatory and naïve.
