He was the only kid in middle school who knew where to get weed. He was really a hybrid of prep and scumbag.
I think we need a new clique tier for Dirtbag. There is type even scummier than scumbag. The biggest dirtbags listened to Pantera and Rammstein and thought Nu Metal was gay. These were dudes whose dads were in actual biker gangs and had to move because they couldn't keep up with the UMC property tax. Also Dirtbags were a generation behind the times permanently due to their lack of Knowledge and Exposure to things so this is the type that in the late 2000s would still be penning a screed about the tragic death of Dimebag Darrell long after anyone Cared.
Nu Metal imo was for Losers who identified as Scumbags. Slipknot was for actual Losers who were trying to carve out a servicable identity. |

I had an ex whose bio dad died of cancer and I went with her to clean out his stuff and among his possessions was a lone copy of like Microsoft PowerPoint '94. He was mostly unemployed and she was raised by her mom and step dad. I will never forget how Scummy his possessions were. I think the only thing he left her that he really wanted her to have was his power drill. |

There were a bunch of Toby Keith CDs and unused Software license keys and some tools and cleaning supplies. It was pretty sad. She said the main job he had in life was he repaired bowling alleys and one time he showed up at some high school play she was in all drunk and caused a scene and she hardly ever talked to him again. Her stepdad was chill af we used to drink and watch sports after my gf went to bed. I heard through the grapevine that he misses me and thinks I'm cooler than the guy she's dating now who is a huge pussy.
I asked her mom once why she married her first husband (gf bio dad) and she said he was cool at the time and rode a motorcycle. |
