Ever notice all the phony "landscaping" out there? Whether it's commercial, residential, or whatever, this stuff is everywhere. All kinds of plants and grasses -- that aren't even native to the region in many cases -- being planted and maintained for years, sometimes decades. And NONE of it is necessary. Take a new housing development, for instance. When brand new, there might be some modest landscaping, usually small trees or bushes, many only a few feet tall. Fast forward twenty years, and those trees are thirty feet high with huge branches and root systems. And some "landscaper" makes big bucks just to trim or water them. And what happens when those giant trees collapse in a storm or are finally cut down? The landscaper gets paid to plant new ones, and the cycle begins again. Landscaping -- this is one of the biggest scams of all time. Just my thoughts.
