presuming your passport is flagged, as donna's was, you need to make a critical choice among three options: canadian border, mexican border, caribbean boat. Donna literally lived with a marina at the foot of her building, but Id agree thats a physically challenging option and leaves you stranded on a small island.
i think, based on seasonality and resources, you have to decide to walk across at canada or mexico. Mexico is the tougher trip, but leads you down towards another continent and a shit ton of countries. Canada is much easier to stroll through some pines, but now youre trapped in canada.
Id go Mex and end up in Salta, Argentina or something with a new name |

any transfers, any bank withdrawals, anything you have to pick up at a place with cameras - forget it.
Biggest problem would seem to be inability to let go of your past life. No calling friends and family. No drunken messaging your mom or exgf or wife. That person has to DIE at the border.
But yeah, imagine walking across the mexican border with tens of thousands of dollars stuffed in your clothes, lmao.
think you gotta buy some pesos right off the bat off a mexo, get to Monterrey or somewhere and buy several conflicting bus tickets at several windows, take one of the buses somewhere, buy several more tickets and zig zag unpredictably around mexico for a while, living off cash. Hooker motels and such. Tough life with only a little street food until you get eventually to South Am.
on further thought, you prob cannot even buy a bus ticket in mexico without ID. So I guess you hitch and pay campesinos to drive you to the next town |

I dont think they get into Openings today (given jurors mentally check out by 4pm latest).... but openings either today or tomorrow morning.
State theory of this case is already very evident, and they've made it repeatedly in previous trials.
What has been nice and dramatic is the way the Tally SAO has introduced one or two new larger concentric circles each time. Obv all eyes are on Wendi. In past trials the volume on Wendi is just noticeably increasing. In this trial they have listed wits such as "Wendi's ex best friend" etc. So Im eager to see how they are approaching her ultimate arrest.
Defense theory of the case? I was humbled by Charlie's lawyer coming out with the most outside the fucking box theory ever (my guy was being framed), so with these shitlawyers who knows.
I think Donna's lawyer just goes with "Charlie did it for Wendi, Donna had some idea of weirdness, but dopily just loved and supported her son. She is too dumb to have realized it was murder."
They have to get around Donna paying Katherine for a no-show job after the murder, so maybe they just eat accessory after the fact or something. Key thrust of the defense should probably just be Donna is a doddering half-dead boomer, loves her kids beyond measure, doesnt know anything about the world. Rich and dumb. (So dumb she struggles to manage telephones during jail calls.) Might get somewhere with that |

donna was "bumped", donna then called charlie and met, donna was recorded talking about paying for the "tv", donna signed off on all the checks to katherine at the dental office. these are all real exhibits that donna has to contend with.
and if the state gets in fleeing as consciousness of guilt, she's cooked.
imo this is still just preamble and the state gets to try out evidence and testimony in advance of the big gamble on wendi
i think wendi could walk, so its just about getting enough PC to hold her for a few years for the process. I also suspect the state is waiting for the kids to go to college, which is 1-2 years |

Charlie only hey-guys-Im-asserting-privilege the first day of Donna's jury selection back then.
Fast forward a slew of lawyers were conflicted off and now donna has new counsel.
AND he's a short king with a silver goatee and a prominent lapel pin. |
