there is definitely a sort of "pensive" archetype you see often enough that really struggles with it though. I suppose it's much less true these days after a decade of bootcamps and AI now doing our work and such, but there used to be some perception it was the best way to be a SCHOLAR while doing "real work". Santa Cruz Operation etc did a lot to romanticize it into something it is simply not for the vast majority of people. |
