For a long time, he was the connect for every grad student from the USA who was visiting Thailand for the first time. Harvard, Yale, Stanford, all of them met this guy. I can't even remember his real name because he kept using fake ones. His emails were signed "Rick Biff Harlow." He was married to a Thai woman but it was strictly business. He was allowed to do anything he wanted to in his spare time, and all he did was hit on every attractive woman he saw. He said 2/3 will negotiate something. Doesn't matter what part of Bangkok you're in or what time of day it is. He said you only need to know 3-5 phrases in Thai.
