This is an excellent and very solid name

Many interesting permutations. Equivalent to "Alexander" for men imo

Every time I hear the name “Cathy” it sounds like someone is saying “Cassie” with a lisp

"Cassandra" is also another winner but a bit more sultry/dusky than the holy water font of "Sophia" or the stained glass and oak cathedral of "Catherine"

"Cassie" is odd and I'm not a fan of it. "Cass" has some jazzy beatnik appeal but is harsh and ashy rolling off the tongue

"Cathy" is a cartoon, or kindly older and portly women who enjoy coffee. Very aunt-coded
