I'm 3rd year biglaw in lit, did fed COA clerkship prior. I'm getting tired of it lately and want to move on to something that makes more money. In NYC but sure wouldn't mind moving.
What should I look at? Preftigious plaintiffs' firms? Find a startup that needs GC and is too dumb to look for transactionals? Hit up local rich shitlawyers for appellate work?
I have a lot of experience in discovery and a decent amount in drafting. I've been the main drafter for evidence motions, a few MSJs and MTDs, some amicus briefs, and one appeal.
I've never argued anything outside of pro Bono shitlaw, but I've taken a few minor depos.

It's amusing that this poster thinks they are marketable or entitled to any kind of huge payday. Yes, the local PI king will certainly pay $450k to someone with a few minor depos under their belt.

You have no marketable skills.
Just be happy that you found a job where you can get paid 6 figures to do absolutely nothing of value.
