In that case if you sell bullish puts for qqq(or tqqq for that matter), you get 1%/month yield if the calls expire worthless but if it executes you just bought the underlying index which is better anyway |

Then I'll just miss out on the run up as my puts expire worthless and eventually end up buying at the very top. And tax treatment is terrible. I need to just buy a combination of qqqi and tqqq(when the market is down). Problem is if I am all invested now I will not have any ammo when thr market declines. That if I pay 40% to sell qqq at a profit or to sell my own covered calls but here I pay 1% for fund fees it only makes sense if nasdaq keeps making at least 10% per year.
