I cannot imagine anything worse than going into law school and vying for a summer associate spot and trying to get a law job at a BIGLAW firm in 2025. The entire business model in law is quickly shifting and changing under our feet. Signing up for the old-school meat market model seems like setting yourself to fall through the trap door into death and despair.

Probably true. If you went into BIGLAW in 1990, as long as you survived the early 90s recession and the dot com bubble it was a BOOM all the way to the Great Recession. If you survived that, it's just been a slow, protracted death.
