Why are televisions the only consumer items that are immune from inflation?

TVs are even immune from the tariff increases too. Are LG and Samsung selling these things at a loss just to sell their ads to you in their bloatware? |

A phone is tossed around, dropped, and gets its screen cracked. It is a $1000 rock that becomes useless due to the fallibility of man. Therefore, there is high demand for these 'smartphones' beyond their capability of vomiting ads and spying on you. |
