- Selling out 10/11 shows is bad, they should have been booking larger rooms.
- A sleeper tour bus costing $60k for a two week rental seems wildly extortionate. It sounds like something that they didn't bid or negotiate at all. This guy claims it's in the same ballpark as vans and hotels but I can't see how this is possible.
- Flying from Chicago to Seattle was extremely retarded, you're supposed to book a show in Denver (and perhaps Minneapolis and Boise or whatever)
Also it's dumb of them to be a 7-piece band. That can fly if you're young and bright-eyed, or make it big like Arcade Fire. But as a career mid-level band, you gotta be telling one or two of these people to take a hike. |
