What's the protocol for kicking a guy out of your friend group?

Kick them both out using the rule -- no hard feelings because the rule was applied neutrally so neither can complain. Not even "Gregs" were singled out, just duplicate names. After they're both gone, I can't think of a legit, non-israel reason why you can't invite the one you prefer back.
