Having a film backlog is way better than a gaming backlog

My gaming backlog is so utterly large it is too depressing to think about. So I have abandoned gaming and am working through films. I can watch 1-2 movies per day. Too many games take 40+ hours to clear. I could watch 20 movies in that time and feel a real sense of accomplishment. I watch foreign films at 2x speed since i'm just reading subtitles anyway so I can watch a 2 hour film in an hour. I work in film too so my wife doesnt see it as losery like gaming. Gaming is done here.

the worst is tv show backlogs
took me weeks to get thru The Wire. I hadn't seen it since the year after it aired and forgot most of it. It was a great rewatch but that's 95% of what I watched the last 2 months
