Those carrier can’t be reliably resupplied at sea. At sea replenishment capacity is inferior to Russian or Chinese because the US NEVER built those ugly funny looking support tugs that follow every Russian warship. Relying on land bases for replenishment was always stupid because bases are not survivable. Now Iran cratered the bases and US ships are fucked and you wish you had a Russian like capability. The Soviets alone built a fleet that could wage actual war and not just pummel savages. The US fleet flees from Houthis. Can’t open the Bab let alone Hormuz.
