Got sidetracked on wikipedia with Titanic stuff and it seems like a lot of dudes accepted their fate with grace. One survivor tells about leaving men swimming in the water because the lifeboats couldn't hold anymore people and the swimming guy was like, "Good luck and God speed." I just somehow doubt the tragedy goes down in the same way todya. |

Was reading about this one kid-- I think he was 13-14. He was kinda scrawny. Anyway, they tried to guide him to a lifeboat as a child and he protested that he was a man. Went down with the ship. |

They stayed on the ship until the last and then they all died. All of the row boats rowed up to a kilometer away to get away from the damn ship and its people. You couldn't swim to a rowboat, although many tried. 1500 souls went into the sea that night and never came back. |
