We talked about It and he said they played at a venue in Harrisonburg Virginia last weekend for about 100 people.
I remember when they were up and coming back in the 80s and played in Richmond venues.

singer died of a heroin overdose 10-11 years ago.
the richmond punk scene is strange. when i was a youngster, there were three bands that richmond was known for: gwar (bunch of dope fiends who dress like monsters and run around with giant fake dicks onstage), avail (pop punk/melodic hardcore singalong music), and 4 walls falling (straight edge hardcore, left wing politics shit). there was some group punk rock house, and members of all three bands lived there, which is just odd to imagine.
i think the singer of gwar was still living in that house when he ODed.
