you got this advice before from me and others, but be very wary of your subordinate. something is "off" about a woman who would be willing to break up a young family. my wife said that to me right after she caught me and i told her i was leaving, and she was right. the woman i left for is extremely selfish and self-centered - used to being told how beautiful she is and having guys pay for this and do that for her, etc. and it shows. turns out she had a disabled kid when she was 22 and she wrote him off. she also left her 13 year old kid in florida to move in with me. anyway, just look for red flags, brother. she went right back to florida, in her 40s with no job and not having worked since she was like 28, living off alimony, bouncing her loose pussy from man to man, according to what friends tell me.

i did not do that, i moved out in october 2020 and the other lady moved in on like november 6 and i got into it with my wife over introducing the kids to her, etc. i was such a shithead at the time. i tell you this so you are aware of what can happen (may not be all that applicable to you since almost all of it was driven by my alcoholism) - i neglected my kids badly for about 8 months (october to june) while i was bad off with booze: i left my kids in the apt one night to run across the street to get beer/wine and my older son, 5, had woken up and was in the living room bawling when i got back. my gf/fiancee went out for a few hours and came home and the older kid was on the couch looking dejected and she said "hey, what's wrong?" and he said "well i kept asking my dad if he'd take me to CVS to get a toy and he kept telling me we will go soon, but he kept drinking more and more and now he's in the bed sleeping" and she took him out and bought him a superman or marvel action figure. we took the kids to hershey park (when i had an ankle monitor LOL) and we stayed there for like 45 mins, i rode two roller coasters with the older kid and maybe one by myself and then we left. when i think about that stuff, i feel very bad about myself. don't ever get to that point.

The weird thing is I’m suddenly the good guy. It’s an easy story now that she moved in with some random dude when we were separated and I of course had to move on, found the subordinate. The only slightly worrying thing is when I told my closest coworker yesterday that happens to also be a solid personal confidant and friend (wanted more recommendations on family lawyers), he was trying to cheer me up and was like no one died is the good thing and put it in perspective you have a healthy kid and a great job etc etc and you’ll find someone one day - I think (subordinate’s name) would be a good match.
