The Kaiser initially thought Hitler wanted to restore his throne but when he realized he wasn't he got pissed. One of his grandsons was deeply inspired by Nazi ideology and enlisted and I think Hitler put him on the front lines in a suicide division and he got killed, although I don't 100% remember.
