This is a topic I asked Papa about recently, and he wanted me to post it on the forum.

As some of you guys may know, Papa has managed to build a ridiculous lifestyle in LA, consisting of going to exclusive parties with playmates and models. Most of us in this forum, including myself, don't have problems making friends or even doing well in social situations. However, I've been unable to thus far penetrate the "IN" crowd here in Chicago. It's been really difficult to meet cool guys who know tons of hot girls and cool parties. I realized that getting HB's are a lot easier if you're in the right social circle. What does it take to get into this group? I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic, including advice.

Hey guys. This is really embarrassing, but I want to be honest with my fellow PUA's. I just got back from a really classy lounge in Chicago and feel utterly demoralized. The night started well. Things went downhill when I spotted a tall blonde HB9.5 with two of her girlfriends and this short bald chubby guy. I approached her and asked an opinion opener I made up. She looked at me like I was a weirdo and told me to ask the guy. He then AMOG'ed me and made the girls laugh. I had no idea what to do; my knees started shaking, and I got nervous. I then talked to one of her friends. The conversation started reasonably well, but I ran out of things to say, and she just walked away. Today is one of those days when I so wish I was making 10 million a year or was a celebrity, so I can get those girls without breaking a sweat. A part of me even thought maybe I should leave the game and devote all my efforts to making a shitload of money. This weekend I plan on redeeming myself. Nonetheless, it really stings when your dream girl turns you away like a sack of feces.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I called in sick for work and feel a lot better. I think the trap I fell into last night is what Tyler calls the "dancing-monkey" stage, where you just want to entertain the girls. I was trying too hard to make them laugh. This is an issue I've been struggling with big time. How do you develop attraction without falling into that "dancing monkey" frame?

You're absolutely correct. Pointing out examples of rich AFC's is not really relevant. Of course there are rich guys who are socially retarded. But I'm a pretty confident guy, and my skillset is good enough that being rich will help me exponentially. Furthermore, wealth gives you a ridiculous amount of confidence; you start to talk, dress, and act differently when you have money. I have no problem approaching women and making them laugh, but it doesn't usually go beyond mere entertainment. They don't take me seriously because I don't have anything else aside from humor, personality, game, or whatever else you want to call it. That is why I believe that if I were making seven figures, I would get hotter girls than RSD instructors. Once I get to that level, I am willing to personally challenge Tyler himself.

I just read the diary on a woman's encounter with vicious right wing fanatics at a bar in Richmond, Virginia, which brings to mind a little social experiment I tried during the winter holidays.

I grew up in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, but now live and work in Chicago. I went back home during winter break and decided to try something. I wore a trucker hat with the Kerry-Edwards logo, and beneath it was inscribed, "We TRIED to tell you!" I went out into every public venue, wearing that hat, whether it was a movie theater, shopping mall, or a starbucks. The goal was to see how many Bush supporters would confront me verbally or even physically. One of my friends was actually worried and offered to protect me if something happened.

Much to my dismay, not a single Republican (this is Georgia, mind you) confronted me. I got a lot of cold angry stares but not a single comment. Now, I'm a 6'1'' Asian guy who is reasonably well-built, so I'm wondering if my size intimidated some people. Or is it because most Republicans are just too scared to confront unashamed liberals? I really couldn't figure out why because a part of me wanted the rush of a confrontation. After reading the woman's diary it makes me wonder what drives right wing extremists to openly confront strangers over politics while in my case, deep in the heart of Red America, not a single person challenged me.
