Today was one hell of a strange Monday

Date: June 1st, 2026 10:47 PM Author: Brindle National Liquid Oxygen Meeting was supposed to be about workflow and getting reassigned to some subordinate role where I have less independence and visibility. This was the stated goal. But we get into the meeting and it immediately becomes clear that nobody is organized or has thought this through and there’s no way to actually implement the subordinate role. I didn’t say much. I just looked at all the lawyers’ time during the meeting. I had the most hours of anyone on the call but I was somehow the target? Also, I haven’t lost a case since I came to this firm. I’m dunking on the competition. Also, they said that someone complained that I was a racist, but then they took that back and said, “no, someone implied you had implicit discriminatory bias” or something like that. Anyway, it’s been a whirlwind of shit. |

Like I’m somehow removed from the equation. I can’t even listen to music anymore. It’s like I don’t hear it. I hear it but it produces no effect. I’m tense without feeling tense mentally.
