You missed the entire point of that. It wasn't that I DESERVE to be in first, the debate was that people in coach should use the lav in coach and not go use the first one just because they want to. Why do people in first DESERVE to have a dedicated lav? Because not having a lav covered in piss and shit from the entire plane and a long wait to piss is part of the benefit they are paying with the ticket. Also when I do fly coach I DO follow the rules and I don't go into the first class lav because it's not my ticketed cabin. I don't see why this is controversial in any way. Seems like common sense. |

It varies from airline to airline but I fly a lot and on probably 75% of the flights I take there is a predeparture announcement saying to use the lav in your ticketed cabin. They might stick a qualifier on like "whenever possible" or something like that, but it's CLEAR that is the way it is supposed to be. That is why there is a curtain between cabins. It's on it's face obvious to everyone and always has been, but in me me me 2025, people in the back who think like you are like "FUCK THOSE PEOPLE WHY ARE THEY SPECIAL!? I WANT THAT SO I DESERVE IT AND I'M GONNA DO IT" and as you highlighted here, well sure there's a rule but they usually don't enforce it so why should I follow it? How do you not see the problem with that?
Many times i've been in the bulkhead row right behind first...if I have to piss I get up and walk to the lav in the back up the plane if it's a plane with that layout. Why? Because that is the lav in my cabin. |

I believe in hard work and excellence and that people who work harder deserve more than people who are lazy and don't contribute. But RSF is a waste of space and he genuinely looks down on the servants who serve him. He also feels entitled to his station in life. I'm rooting for Mamdani for the same reasons I rooted for Trump. The majority of people are suffering and the elites are rapacious nepotists. That can only go on for so long before there's a public backlash.
People have had enough. In the Gilded Age the elites felt a duty to give back. Carnegie, Vanderbilt, Queen Victoria. There was a sense of moral duty to help improve the lives of the masses. Today's elites are unrepentant hedonists, many of whom have contributed nothing and their gains, ill-gotten. Populism is in the air and you can only hope that the elites lose and the people win. Of course it's communistic. Just look at history every time the elites accumulate too much wealth relative to regular people it leads to a socialist uprising. It happens every time things go too far. We have a country where most people have nothing and people like RSF have everything and he never lifted a finger to earn it. |
