A lawn mower is the best leaf vacuum. The other poaster said to get a mulching blade but some mowers have "high lift" blades available, which will give you a cleaner cut and also maximize how many leaves get sucked up.
Other than that, you gotta use a blower. I have this and it goes through an insane amount of batteries but it is a beast:
