same thing though. like omar getting killed by some random kid.
people criticize the show for far-fetched shit like thugs waxing poetic about life while playing chess. but moments like those deaths that seem completely random and out of the blue are much more realistic than the stringer bell death scene, for instance.
i think the show did a great job balancing exciting moments for fans, realism, and exposition.
