plenty of interviewers are like this tho. the interviewer needs to do a better job with dullard interviewees. leno and letterman have interviewed plenty of boring dullard actors surely, and they dont make them appear this bad. |

The problem is tucker doesnt ask anything remotely interesting instead focusing on allowing hines to stay in her cpmfort zone.
I think the interview is aimed at suburban women to make them empathize with hines. E.g.: what?? Dem bootlickers were MEAN to you when RFK started campaigning with trumpf???? |

He brings an interesting perspective given his background. The chief value is his anti-establishment creds give him access to interesting people like eg putin. Putin is not going to sit down with kristen welker. But his decades in the establishment give him credibility to normies and connections and clout to avoid erasure by the establishment security state.
In short hes uniquely positioned politically and has a strong enough iq to leverage that position to be an adequate interviewer. He isnt uniquely charismatic or engaging though
Hines is a c list celeb who came off disappointingly dumb. Probly 105 iq or so which is pretty good for hollywood, but shes clearly still frightened to death of having been blackballed in hollywood and was treading carefully to avoid saying anything she cant take back after divorcing rfk once he gets fired.
Anyway, theres a reason she was a c lister. Not much interestong to say. Probly a nice person. Not surprisingly really values hollywood/dc cocktail parties. |
