Date: October 2nd, 2025 1:25 PM Author: Pumonymous I find this especially hilarious not just because of how stupid it is (virtually all English speakers would agree that “city” includes municipalities with far fewer than 10 million people) or how arbitrary it is (why 10 million specifically? …oh wait it’s because that’s Seoul’s population lol) but also because of how it starkly reveals nyuug’s subhuman bugman mindset.
To nyuug, it doesn’t matter that NYC and London are the preeminent global centers of culture and commerce, are known to everyone on the planet down to remote jungle tribesmen, and have great historical significance. They are still less worthy of the “city” title than some random Chinese megacity you’ve never heard of, because “city” just means a huge amount of human biomass crammed together. According to nyuug, if we were to round up 100 million random Indian villagers and dump them in a massive pit, that would be the world’s greatest and most glorious CITY |
