I was on the verge of a very large inheritance at one point and I behaved badly at times. Being beholden to a job and a boss has its downsides but also upsides. I became more humble. I've already built, without any lottery winnings, the foundation for a good life and success, and I understand and appreciate the hard work it took to get there because I went through it.
There is a good chance that it would have not been a net positive for my life if I had, in my early 20s, come into tens of millions that I didn't earn. |

But we the people are allowed to criticize and judge one's comportment and behavior after the fact. And we still find him lacking as a human being. That's just an opinion but it's one that's backed up by a lot of information. He could have worked a lot harder to improve the world and make it a better place. Having nothing going on but consooming is pretty sad. No one faults his dad for working hard and providing for his family. He could have done a lot more character building for his kids though too.
