They have extensive rules like that you can't wake them up if they're sleeping or bother them if they're eating. You also have to wash and sanitize your hands before even going into the main part of the cafe where the cats are. And the cats can always duck out in the kitty-only rooms if they don't feel like socializing. 24-hr cat cafes were the best.
