Did ELIE MYSTAL make some major mistakes today?

3. I try to edit the error-prone colleague when I am around. I enjoy cleaning up other people's messes. (See my earlier status update about tidying up public bathrooms.)
Unfortunately, I was offline for most of today, attending my law school reunion. That's when some embarrassing errors were committed (some of them substantive as well as grammatical).
I kind of feel bad for Elie..i bet he resigns soon..I guess he should take more pride in his writing

Thanks to the commenters and tipsters that pointed out the mistake in the original version of the story. As I explain above, it looks like one of our tipsters added their own commentary to Urquhart's email. The version above has been passed off on by the tipsters who pointed out the initial error.
This was an honest mistake, there was no desire to sensationalize on my part. I apologize for the error, thanks again to the QE people who emailed in,
Elie = guy who checks his email after business hours.
What trash Elie is - it's all fine and dandy to get tipster emails - but get confirmation before you blast it to the world on a "legitimate" website. If Lat has any integrity, he'll fire Elie for this.

. . . It isn't just the typos. There is also an issue of perhaps not caring enough to fix them. For example, if you go back into a post to, say, correct a misquoted email, wouldn't you reread the whole post to see what other errors you notice?
